Ingrid Hesling, a friend from Somerset, provided her photography expertise to work with us in a girls group to empower girls by asking them to record what was valuable about girls and women in Malawi. They were given cameras following an awareness raising workshop and produced their own exhibition and short video/photo presentation, opened by a female Government Minister. These are a few of their photos. They went on to create an HIV photo package for use in schools with the help of Julia Kapinski.
